Silver Coast Blog| Tiger,

We have a new family member, an extremely lively kitten the Boy King has named Tiger, and I can see his point as the kitten is a very stripy ginger tom.

Tiger is causing havoc for one so small (why does it always seem to be that way?), the main reason we decided on a cat was to keep the rodent population down in the barn. With all the animal food stored in there it is like a Mecca to every mouse on the Silver Coast!

The problem is that Tiger is only seven or eight weeks old and is far too young to be living outside on his own, so he has moved in and completely taken over our little house. Jake is not quite sure what to make of it all, but they seem to be making friends in a boisterous sort of way. It’s chaos!

My new job is going well, I am really enjoying it even though it means having to be a bit more organised at home. My biggest worry was that the Boy King would be unhappy with the change, but he and his dad have bonded more than ever and both appear to be managing fine without me.

And there was I thinking I was indispensable!

All the animals have switched allegiance as well, now that CG feeds them every day they take absolutely no notice when I pass by but make all sorts of noise when they see him. How quickly they forget. . .

As I said I am enjoying my new job enormously. Part of it is writing descriptions of properties for the website which I love, (waxing lyrical about the Silver Coast is easy for me!) however, CG mentioned that maybe I was bringing my work home with me the other day, when we were discussing the new pig sty he is planning to build. I don’t know what he means, anyone would describe it as ‘A state of the art pig complex with far reaching country views’, wouldn’t they?

10 days since you last blog? We need to know what is happening in your life, you can’t just leave us hanging here. We live vicariously through your daily exploits, we all love Roly and hope that Adrian’s efforts to impregnate her have been succesful. We miss the adventures of the dog who eats poison, and Freedies attempts to get backwards running entered into the 2012 olympics.
We miss you.

I would just like to say to anyone who has not met James that he has a very ‘unusual’ sense of humour!

I’ve never lived up north and therefore know nothing about pigeons......
