As Silver Coast life continues I can’t help but be amazed, baffled and if I’m honest, rather pleased about how things are turning out.
We love our life here at Bay Tree Farm and have made plenty of progress since my last blog which was (rather embarrassingly) quite some time ago at the end of March.
Roly and her piglets are doing well, CG managed to do a deal with Miguel the farmer and swapped two of the piglets for a beautiful pregnant sheep who we have called Florence. So our little farm is really taking shape with CG in charge and the Boy King his able assistant.
My job is also proving to be a great success, I didn’t realise how much fun it would be – or how much I would learn!
What about this weather! I popped down to Sao Martinho do Porto this afternoon and found myself in a scene straight from mid-summer. There were plenty of holiday makers about enjoying the sunshine in temperatures that reached the mid 30’s – Does this mean that summer is here? It certainly felt like it – phew!
I hope you have all been enjoying James’ blogs – the man is quite unique in his sense of humour and really should be on the stage, as anyone who regularly calls into Union Jacs, the British food shop in Tornada, will know!
Thank you James, you are building quite a following. . .
