Bar Ibn Errik Rex

This long established bar in the centre of town specialises in ginginha, the local cherry liquer. The bar has loads of character with interesting things decorating every inch of the walls and ceiling. The long dark wood tables and benches add to the atmosphere.

The unusual name is moorish, meaning D. Afonso Henriques, the first King of Portugal. Ibn means "son of", Errik is the name of D. Afonso Henriques father (D. Henrique).
