Festival do Marisco

Amongst the most important gastronomic events in the Algarve, the Festival do Marisco (seafood festival) at the Jardim do Pescador Olhanese has rows of stalls selling fresh fish dishes. Concerts, folk dancing and singing keep visitors entertained as they eat.

Most of the dishes are typical of the region, offering the chance to discover some of the local culture and escape the chips and burgers on offer in many other parts of the Algarve.
