Anyone who happened to be shopping in the Vivaci Centre on Sunday afternoon could not fail to notice the fabulous show that took place on the Madagascar set on the ground floor.
The extravaganza was put on by the Escola Portuguesa and English de Performing Arts – the phenomenally successful school of performing arts that opened barely six months ago in Caldas da Rainha on the Silver Coast.
Since its inauguration at the end of June 2010 the school has gone from strength to strength appealing to both children and adults who fancy learning more about singing, dancing or drama.
The owner and founder of the school, British actress Fiona Spreadborough, was very pleased with the performance of her new protégés, all of whom sang and danced their way through the show with huge enthusiasm and some displaying exceptional talent worthy of any professional.
Fiona herself took to the stage at one point showing us all what can be achieved with a combination of hard work and natural talent.
The appreciative audience enjoyed every moment of the show which will be repeated next Sunday at 3.30pm.
So pop along to the Vivaci Centre next week and take a well earned break from your Christmas shopping to enjoy the live musical spectacular and see some real stars of the future.
